More Fundraising Tips

April 24, 2010

Thank you for your participation in the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia! Without your efforts and passion, we would not be able to make 2010 a success! Here are a few tips on how to successfully fundraise to help elevate your team and walk day totals:

·Put up posters to advertise your walk. If you can, post one at work or at daycare. The sky is the limit!

·Consider hosting an additional event in which funds benefit the Preeclampsia Foundation ~ garage sale, collect pennies, car wash, etc. Use your imagination! You can keep it as easy as you want or plan something a bit more involved, it’s up to you.

·Write a letter to friends, family, co-workers, and local businesses asking for their support. Include why the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia is important to you.

·Compete against another team and see who can raise the most dollars. The winning team gets bragging rights or perhaps a pizza. Have fun with it!

·And much, much more! What are some of YOUR ideas?

There is no magic equation on how to successfully fundraise. Your creativity and efforts lead the way. Keep your mind open and try new things, you might be surprised how fun and successful you can be!

Remember, whenever fundraising be sure to promote your efforts as a benefit for the Preeclampsia Foundation. Also, check on your state or local ordinances to ensure events or activities are allowed. If you have ideas, please share in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
