Amazing Supporters Lead the Way in 2013 Fundraising

August 9, 2013

2013_top_fundraisersFor many members of our Foundation, the Promise Walk is not “just” another charity event. It is a personal reflection of the impact that this devastating condition has on the lives of families… Families like their own, who have lost mothers, sisters, babies; or simply lost the peace of mind that their pregnancy could be “normal.”

It is a reflection of all of your giving spirits that our supporters spend the first half of each year actively fundraising for this cause!

For our top 10 individual fundraisers, not hitting their individual goals was simply not an option! Together, these amazing supporters raised over $46,000 toward our national total and influenced hundreds of members of their local community to show their support.

As a staff, our collective white Promise Walk caps are off to every individual and team who helped us near our goal, and to all of the wonderful people who support you in this endeavor! No list would be complete without also giving a shout-out to the Top 5 Teams across the nation, whose fundraising efforts were equally instrumental to our walks.

  1. Team Lauren: $20,546
  2. Team Steiner: $10,418.35
  3. Team Ayah’s Miracle: $7,525
  4. Woods-Morrison Forget-me-Nots: $6,699
  5. Team Dignan: $6,020

We are incredibly blessed to have 10,000 supporters who made a contribution to the walk this year! Be sure to check out our Facebook photo album highlights from this year’s event.

Was your own team close to your goal? Every dollar counts toward an impact on our mission. Don’t forget that our fundraising season ends on August 31, 2013, so you can still make those pink feet move by visiting www.promisewalk.org and making a donation today!
